SAIPH Familia
As part of its citizen activities, SAIPH organizes social actions for the benefit of populations and disadvantaged regions, led by a dedicated structure called "SAIPH FAMILIA".These actions are in collaboration with its partners in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors and consist of the organization of health caravans, the rehabilitation of schools and their equipment, the support of social and cultural activities in the hospices and childcare facilities and the support of civil society associations with social purpose.
Recent Activities
Awareness-raising and screening actions
The SAIPH FAMILIA Club organizes regularly, with the health professionals, actions of awareness and screening of the main diseases present in Tunisia, like the diabetes and Arterial Hypertension and fight against the obesity and the smoking.
Schools rehabilitation
The SAIPH FAMILIA Club has contributed to the rehabilitation and equipment of several primary schools in several regions of Tunisia. The last operation of this kind involved a primary school in Demmer in the south of the country.
1000 Books Operations
The SAIPH FAMILIA Club, in collaboration with the Kef section of the Tunisian League of Human Rights (LTDH), donated in March 2017 1000 books to the library of the Pilote Middle School in Kef.
Several similar actions have been carried out in several schools across the country.
Partnership with Associa-Med
In partnership with the Sfax section of the Associa-Med, SAIPH organized, on October 27, 28 and 29, 2017, several citizen actions in Kebili, in the south-west of Tunisia. These actions included the organization of:
- A health caravan for screening and awareness on several diseases present in the region
- An Educational Campaign on the Dental Hygiene of students
- Donations of books to several libraries of primary schools as part of the "1000 books" operation
Social and leisure activities for the elderly people
On the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons, the SAIPH FAMILIA club invited the residents of the Protection Center for the elderly people of Manouba to a lunch in one of the fancy restaurants of Lake of Tunis 2, in the northern suburbs of Tunis.
