Our industrial facilities
SAIPH has currently an industrial site in Tunisia comprising five (05) factories.A sixth factory is in the process of being finalized. These factories manufacture generic drugs, treating the main pathologies present in the region, in particular cardiovascular drugs, antidiabetic, antibiotics, analgesics, anti-inflammatories, psychiatric drugs, etc.
SAIPH also manufactures princeps for the largest multinationals.
The new and 5th SAIPH factory
The new SAIPH factory, which was launched on February 15, 2018, required an investment of 20 million dinars. It will manufacture several new galenic forms, some of which will be manufactured for the first time in Tunisia:
- Soft capsules (soft gelatin), which facilitate oral administration and conceal unpleasant smells or tastes.
- Bilayer tablets for bitherapy facilitating the compliance to treatment for polymedicated patients.
- Inhalation powders.
A second phase in progress, for an investment of 25 million dinars will manufacture:
- Freeze-dried injectables
- Pre-filled injectable syringes
- Ophthalmic drugs without conservatives
- Ophthalmic single doses
All these new galenic forms are intended to meet the needs of the local markets and export.
